What it is
In Risk Your Answer, guests spread tokens over the answers to a question. Tokens on the right answer score and are kept. Tokens on wrong answers are lost for good.
Add it to your show
It is one step in your Rundown, like any other game. Add it where you want it to play.
- Open the Rundown tab and press Add.
- Choose Risk Your Answer from the menu. It joins the end of the list and opens on the right.
Set it up
The settings hold your questions, one per line, with the answers after bars and a star on the right one.
Choose how many tokens each guest starts with, the fewest they must place on a question, the points for each token on the right answer, and the betting timer.
The Sounds tab picks the sound effect for each moment of the game.
Spread your tokens
The question goes up with its answers. On every phone, each answer has plus and minus buttons. Guests spread their tokens over the answers, putting more on the one they trust. The TV shows how many guests have placed their tokens.
Lock in
A guest must place at least a few tokens, so nobody can sit a question out. Bets can be changed until you lock them. Tap Lock in my tokens when you are ready.
The right answer
When you reveal, the right answer lights up. Tokens on it score points and stay with the guest. Tokens on the wrong answers are gone for good, so the next question is played with fewer tokens.
Your controls on the Live tab
On the Live tab, Ask shows the next question and opens the token placing, Lock bets stops it, Reveal shows the right answer and settles the tokens, and Skip drops a question so nobody loses tokens.
Tip The same keys are on the Host Remote, so you can run Risk Your Answer from a phone or tablet.
How it ends
The TV shows how many tokens were placed on each answer, and who scored.
