What it is
Only One puts a question on the screen with a board of answers, and only one is right. The room votes the answers they think are wrong off the board, and the right one must survive.
Add it to your show
It is one step in your Rundown, like any other game. Add it where you want it to play.
- Open the Rundown tab and press Add.
- Choose Only One from the menu. It joins the end of the list and opens on the right.
Set it up
The settings hold the question and the answers, one per line, with a star in front of the one right answer. Guests never see the star.
Choose whether the whole room votes together or teams take turns, how many answers come off each round, and the points.
The Sounds tab picks the sound effect for each moment of the game.
The board
The TV shows the question and the board of answers. On every phone, each answer is a button. Guests vote for the answer they think is wrong.
Vote an answer off
Tap the answer you think is wrong. The most voted answers come off the board, so do not knock out the right one.
They come off the board
When the vote closes, the answers with the most votes are knocked out, and the TV shows them going. Then the next round begins.
Only one is left
Play carries on until one answer is left. If it is the right one, the room wins. If the right answer is knocked out, the game is lost.
Your controls on the Live tab
On the Live tab, Start opens the first round, Close the vote knocks out the answers with the most votes, Eliminate an answer lets you remove one yourself, Next team hands the board on, and Reveal shows the right answer.
Tip The same keys are on the Host Remote, so you can run Only One from a phone or tablet.
How it ends
The TV ends on the result, with the right answer shown.
